Our friends from Patina Rentals threw the party of the year on Thursday at The 1896 that we will not soon forget and some of us will never forget. I’m talking real tattoos to always remember the night by. The Color Condition debuted their collaboration project with Patina at the party and it was out of this world!

I figured it was a terrible idea to get my first tattoo at a roller skating party, so I opted for the temporary tattoo by Tattly. Plus, I got my gold skates to always remember the night by.

There is truly nobody better in NYC to get the party started then Kenan of Les Loups. He rocked it out all night and then sent us all home with an old school mix tape. Gold skate crew 4-life! {top picture stolen from our friends @thesistersofcedarlakes}

Neon

At the New York Gift Show this past January I came across Seletti’s neon lights and immediately thought of using them at a wedding or party. I love how they hung them in this live wall here and think it would make for the perfect backdrop to a bar.

Hostess Gifts with the Most-ess

I’m always on the search for the perfect hostess gift. Seed bombs seem to be all the rage at the moment but when I came across these ‘Garden Bon Bons’ from Moulton I was excited that I no longer had to decide between bringing flowers or chocolates. Each box of bon bons is filled with seed bombs made to look truffles. I also love that they come in different varieties like ‘herbal teas’ and ‘cocktail garnishes’ so that you can tailor the gift towards the hostess. All she has to do is plant them in her garden and voila- she’ll be growing a plethora of yummy herbs in no time. We have some exciting news to share with everyone today! We’ve recently partnered with NYC based prints designer Stephanie Singer-Eventov for a line of custom prints that are exclusively available in our shop! The Graphic, Garden, and Global collections all create a fun and unique way to customize your wedding, next party, or home. We love seeing prints from various collections paired together for custom table runners, napkins, pillows, bridesmaid dresses, and even paper goods!

A few months ago we teamed up with Belathee Photography & Patina Rentals to show how nicely the Graphic Bold, Marche, & Garden Ikat prints play together. I particularly loved the bold black and white graphic runner paired with the blush garden ikat napkins!

I recently stumbled across Sugar.Paper, L.A. and was immediately enamored with their lighthearted paper goods. Here are a few of my favorites….

Gettin Hitched!

It feels even more real that we’re getting hitched after the amazing engagement bash Juliet & her sister threw us this past Saturday night! I’m so beyond fortunate to have so many generous, talented, and caring friends in my life. As if having a party thrown in your honor was not enough, we also had the treat of hanging out with Kerry Crawford who stopped by to do our make-up. She is hands down one of the most talented make-up artists in NYC and you too can hire her for your wedding or special event. Our faces are a testament to her magic skills.

I couldn’t possibly love this sister wives family portrait anymore than I already do.

Our bitters and prosecco bar was hands down the highlight of the evening. My favorite was prosecco with a touch of lavender bitters, garnished with fresh fruit and mint.

Juliet used cute bamboo flatware for an easy party clean up and added these adorable floral tags. I loved every little detail she included!

Rentals with Personality

As most of you already know at this point, Juliet and I have been searching high and low for the best vintage and antique rentals to add to our ever growing Trove prop shop. Why you ask? To be candid, we’re sick and tired of the same old same old rentals you find at the big rental houses and keep yearning for events with personality. We’re not suggesting you rent every last item from us, but imagine an event which is curated with part rental house inventory and part Trove vintage rentals for character. The best of both worlds, we think so. This weekend we’ll be kicking off Trove rentals with a massively amazing wedding. Imagine vintage rugs, antique china and serving platters all paired with farmhouse tables and lush florals. Of course we’ll share more soon, but for now check out some new items just added to the prop shop and available for rental by you!
