A few of my favorite things…

Wedding season has gotten the worst of us and we’ve dropped the ball on some of our favorite blog series. The good news is we’re changing all of that and starting it back off with two of the most talented and sweet people we have the pleasure of knowing.

Who are we talking about ? Well of course none other than the lovely husband and wife duo Trent & Dara! We caught up with them over lunch a few weeks ago and immediately wanted to share a few of their favorite things with all of you because frankly they are the most fashionable, sweet, and funny people we’ve had the pleasure of spending time with lately. Before we get to all of the goodies they picked out, a little history about our friends. Trent is the man behind Trent Bailey Photography and Dara is the mastermind of the accessories line Preston & Olivia. Together they make one hell of a team in both life and the wedding industry! One of my favorite, fun facts about these two is that they moved to NYC a few years back from Louisiana. I too hail from the same crazy little state in the south and love that we share this!

We hope you enjoy reading up on Dara’s favorite things and make sure to check back next week for Trent’s picks!

I heart NARS lipstick. NARS in general is by far my favorite makeup brand, but if I had to choose just one thing from their counter at Sephora, it would be lipstick! It lasts FOREVER. And the colors are to-die-for. Hands down. It’s my favorite. And now that it’s Fall, I have an excuse to buy new, dark, and fun colors.

Paddle boarding is my newest “fitness” obsession. Though I just jumped on the SUP bandwagon this summer and have only had a few opportunities to actually get out on the water and paddle, I’ve loved every minute, and am determined to get in a few more sessions before winter hits!

K-Pop nail art. What’s not to love is all I have to say. I only wish I was ambidextrous so I could properly achieve these techniques on my own. I struggle to paint inside my cuticle lines, let alone paint designs and encrust my nails with diamonds and pearls. I need to find a good nail salon for a K-pop-mani-makeover STAT.
