Fashion Week has descended upon NYC recently, which always means a lot of parties (not that we attend), extra traffic, and extremely beautiful/stylish people trolling the streets of NYC. My fiance’s catering company did get to cater the Balenciaga party, which boasted Grace Coddington from Vogue as their special guest.  I’ll go ahead and admit I tried to sneak in as one of his staff, but I wasn’t model-esque enough.

With all of this fashion talk in the air, I know I am really behind in fashion terms to be posting about dresses from a 2012 collection, but I simply can’t help myself. If you had come wedding dress shopping with me, you’d know that I don’t swoon over many dresses. Of course I think they’re all beautiful (how can you not) but I didn’t get mushy over many. These Elie Saab dresses to me are extraordinary pieces. If I we’re a different person, having a different wedding, I’d totally rock one of the seafoam green dresses and have my friends party in the shorties.
