Choosing a china pattern can be difficult, but it’s just as perplexing when trying to compromise on flatware.  For a while now I’ve been obsessed with the modern designs from David Mellor.  For the everyday I love the simplicity of the Chinese White Flatware (shown above).  I’m also quite partial to the Provencal (below).

For those with a more formal appetite the classic lines of the English Flatware will be more to your taste.
