Here at Poppies & Posies we love foxes.  I think it’s the law that if you slap a fox on something it becomes instantly cute.  I had a look around this week for some foxy items to perk up this Monday and here are my favorites.

Barbara Keal makes the most charming felted hats made from alpaca fleece topped with floppy ears and beastly horns.  Of course the one that really got me was the rather friendly fox.

I found these kitschy salt and pepper shakers at Sprout Home in Brooklyn.  It’s an honest truth that you can never have enough quirky salt and pepper shakers.

I love the look of a fox tail hanging off of a bag.  Whether it’s a fancy leather purse or a plain canvas tote, a bit of fur gives an instant rock and roll edge.  Then about a week ago I saw a mother walking her 5 y/o home from school and he had a fox tail clipped to the back of his pants… it might have been the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.  I found this ebay shop that claims to have “the nicest tails on ebay”.

And to finish up I’ll suggest something a little more animal friendly.   These super cute t’s and sweaters are from ebay shop dandyrions.  The cartoonishly felted fox wrap is a sly wink to wearing fur and would look super cute with a pretty circle skirt or a pair of high waisted flared jeans.
