A Veggie Patch…

With summer in full swing, it’s hard to not be inspired by all the beautiful produce I see overflowing from baskets in the farmers market.  I love the idea of a veggie-centric wedding design.

The Dress

This dress, by Whitney Deal, is perfect for a garden party!

The Design

We designed this bouquet a few years back and it is still one of my favorites.  I think the soft dahlias juxtaposed with the vibrant radishes makes for a delicious looking bouquet!

I love the idea of old crates planted with lots of veggies on each table. Rainbow chard & rhubarb would be gorgeous as the color of their stalks is to die for!

A wall of lettuce would make the perfect backdrop to a ceremony or escort card display.

The Details

This tape is the perfect way to seal envelopes and and finish off favors!

I cannot seem to track down where I came across this lovely vegetable presentation but I think it would be amazing as an invite!  It would be hard to send to guests that are far away, but a sort of CSA delivery to your local friends and family would be too cute!

I have always wanted to throw a party where each guest gets their own little set of pruning shears and can cut the herbs they would like to season their food with themselves.  It would be a perfect finishing touch to a produce inspired wedding.
