This weekend pickle it!

My mum always keeps a jar of her bread & butter pickles in the fridge and I have tried to follow in her footsteps and make sure my pickle jar is always full.  These pickles are kept in the refrigerator so there’s no need to go through the whole canning process.  They will keep for a month or so. Enjoy!

Mix in a large pickle jar…

  • 4 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 4 Cups Sugar
  • 1/3 Tablespoon Turmeric
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons Celery Seed
  • 1/3 Cup Kosher Salt
  • 2-3 Cucumbers  (sliced)
  • 1 Yellow onion (wedges)

Stick in the fridge, stirring once a day.  They should be ready in a week or so.  Enjoy!
