I recently learned about The Mantry (a Modern Man’s Pantry) and instantly fell in love with their concept, products and branding. Its hipster, Brooklyn, American Apparel inspired branding somehow hits the nail on the head just perfectly. It helps greatly that their monthly gift crates have included themes such as a Bourbon Breakfast and Into the Wild. The Bourbon Breakfast box included bourbon maple syrup, skillet bacon spread, and stone ground pancake mix among other goodies.

I’m also particularly fond of their advice of garnishing a classic bloody mary with a piece of Blue Ox Jerky (included in a past box) to make it extra manly. I’m determined to love bloody mary’s and while I’m not typically a jerky fan, it looks pretty tasty when done by The Mantry. I can count more people I know (ladies included) than I have fingers who would go cuckoo for not just one of these items but all of them.
